Assistant Manager - HR

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager HR Executive to manage the full employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sourcing, hiring, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. You will work closely with department heads and the HR team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and engaging employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Post job vacancies on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
    • Conduct initial screening interviews and assessments to identify qualified candidates.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance.
    On-boarding
    • Oversee the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
    • Coordinate new employee orientation sessions and introduce them to company policies, culture, and key processes.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are completed.
    Employee Relations
    • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, addressing issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain positive employee relations and promote a healthy work environment.
    • Assist in resolving conflicts and handling employee grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
    Performance Management
    • Support the performance review process by coordinating evaluations and providing guidance to managers.
    • Help design and implement employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
    • Monitor employee performance and work closely with managers to identify areas of improvement and training needs.
    HR Administration
    • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
    • Prepare and maintain reports related to recruitment, employee performance, and HR metrics.
    Employee Engagement & Retention
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and programs to improve job satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement.
    • Recommend and implement strategies to enhance employee morale and productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree / MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
